My finger hurts

First off, definitley a unique take on the TD concept. I enjoyed the whole shaft protecting thing. The monsters were okay but there were to few, which leads me to my next complain: Repetitive. The game was extremely repetetive, with more monsters and more elevators being the only things I could look forward to. Forcing players to be strategic in the placements of the lifts while acting quickly made for a nice idea. It was nearly frustratingly hard on my finger as the key to survival was your own gun. Funny enough, I told myself I'd quit after the 15th level and was pleasantly surprised when I saw it was the last level, so maybe add in your comment that there are 15 levels, just incase someone like me decides to give up one level to soon. Some weapons (for the player himself) would add to the awesomeness of the game. Lastly, always remember that a disturbingly expensive, but all-powerful weapon is a must for all TD games (Which would work especially well in this game if limited to one)

Well done mate

Firstly, kudos on gaining a frontpage spot and Daily 3rd, you should be proud. To the review: Upon entering the game I'm thinking this game is about terraforming planets and what-not, almost like a tamagotchi-garden. I was surprised to see a format seen countless times, but one that still felt unique (i.e. Growing plants). While it had a calm feeling, it had that tiny necessary hint of action in terms of the being of a robot and controling (a) element. The art style was satisfying and the little things always make games like these worth while (i.e. The smoke from jumping, the sparkling of growing spots). Difficulty curve was plausible, but sometimes it felt like "Am I doing this as intended?; is using my body a glitch?". Maybe including the idea of using your body in the tutorial would help lessen confusion. The whole plant thing was a nice change, which is where you scored your creativity points. Music was fitting but repetitive. I personally though some ambiant background sounds would have fit perfectly, instead of the music. I also enjoy trying to figure out the plots myself, but we need more hints for that. All and all, I applaud you for a good game.

It's good to see someone who understands the intended design so well

Amazing

It took a while for me to realise the obvious amount of detail you put in. Very, very well done. A bunch of glitches but what-the-heck.

How to unlock the characters: Complete singleplayer with all characters to unlock the first guy. Then beat singleplayer with him, and Naruto, but when using Naruto, use up+special to transform into kyuubi-naruto(only when super bar is full). Then use kyuubi-Naruto(unlocked one) on Hard(it's real easy when you keep using ->+normal alot. Then, I THINK you have to beat extreme mode with someone. I just tried it with Kyuubi-Naruto but it didn't work. Hope this helps.

When attempting Extreme-mode, I suggest using down+special with Kyuubi until the enemy reaches you, then use sideways+normal to the enemy out. Just keep doing this and you'll win for sure.

Again, awesome game, it just takes time to get the love it deserves.

Brilliant

First off, I loved American Mcgees Alice, Bioshock and Fallout 3. You blended them together perfectly in terms of atmosphere. Ending twist was amazing. I simply can't wait for a sequel. Nice job :).

ImpendingRiot responds:

I've played Bioshock and Fallout 3, so the influence is probably there, but I've honestly never played American Mcgees. Thanks a lot though man, hopefully the wait isn't too long.

Okay

It's nice and all but what I'd really like is an RPG mode, where you build your character with points, like adding super-speed, fall-through powerups time control etc. Love the music, and teh ninja!

awesome

Amazing sequel, loved it all.

@Guy who can't finish space level, look closely at the words " What is this?" Answer the question. :)

Hmm

Seems like others I can't input frequency. I even had to open the walkthrough to see if I was doing it right. Am I missing something? Also, I can't seem to close the shotgun. I clicked exactly where the walkthrough shows, followed by a flurry of all-round clicking, but to no avail.

Other than thos issues, the game is great. Awesome atmosphere.

Awesome

Tip for defeating Goku:
Use the guys holy sword and his holy power(the one that costs 77) and the girls Judgement, works like a charm. Oh, and have loads of ethers if possible.

Awesome game, really loved the style. Cameos increase the awesomeness. Fighting Regigigas instead of the other 2 regis the second time wpuld have been even beter, but it still rocked. Nice work mate.

Fantastic

Just plain fantastic. The main thing I loved about it is the total differentness of each class.
Also, I don't know if I'm not allowed to do it, but I saved the game via page save and I was able to play hydrolic, where it seems here you can't(via reading reviews). I save pages as I can't redownload it thanks to the shitty South-African cap.

A tip for biological players, the predator upgrade is a beast as you can use destroy instantly after it reloads because predator gains 100 focus each turn, and destroy takes up 100.

Again, amazing game, and I barely ever vote 10/10, but this one deserves every bit of it!

Why the difficulty hate?

I really don't see why people rate lower because its hard. IMO it really isn't so hard, checkpoints are everywhere, and I finished it easily in one sitting (died a lot ofcourse).
Awesome graphics, nice gameplay and original idea.

Again, stop rating the game badly because you are to pathetic to handle your birdy dieing a few times. Oh, and the feathers AREN'T necesarry, so don't bother getting them unless you want the challenges, like me:) Good game PopBrain. Lastly, Tryolaser, thanks for stating the obvious :|.

I'm currently doing my first year at AFDA, a South African film school. This semester I'm doing directing and writing and next semester I'll be doing Animation and VFX, so expect some uploads from me next semester!
