Lonely Island influence?

First off, I adored the video. It's been ages since something random was actually funny on Newgrounds. Good show. I have to ask though: Did you have any influence from The Lonely Island? The lyrics and especially the vocals reminded me strongly of songs like "Like a boss", "Jizz in my pants" etc.

All in all, fantastic animation and adult humor at its peak. Kudos :)

Well done

First off, the mini review:
Your animation is really top of the crop. The humor was fine, but personally, it could have used more...comedic moments if you get what I'm trying to say (Because I don't). The music, while not fitting in any way, was beyond awesome. I'll go check Bezo's other stuff out for sure. While there weren't many body movements, I don't blame you because the movement would cause tons of extra work, simply because the animation is almost godlike. I also love your Ricepirate intro: It let me know I'll be in for a nice treat animation wise.

As for the looming question, I've read the books (Knowing the books well in Highschool and even collage was a sure way to get some tail. Feel free to burn me for it, I often feel like burning myself.) Anywho, not that anyone cares, but "apparently" the wolf-kiddies have pants tied to their legs at all times. How in anyway that would not be obvious to the in-book characters and also uncomfortable (don't forget the lack thereof in the movies), I have no idea. Anyways, have a good one mate, and congrats on the daily first and the epic FP :)

3.75?

Okay, first off: Wow! You managed to capture the best 'musical' ever made and turned it into an 8-bit masterpiece that's true to the formula. Amazing. Music was great, flow of plot into gameplay was fantastic and as I mentioned before, the trueness to the original was mind-blasting. As for that 3.75 score, I'm betting my balls anyone that voted under 4/5 doesn't have a clue what Dr. Horrible is all about. All I could add is: Please hurry with part 2, I'd love to see how you did the Brand New Day song. Thanks for pleasing my eyes and ears.

LeviFolds responds:

Maybe I should have mentioned in the description that Neil Patrick Harris tweeted this, haha.

Welcome back

All I can say is: Welcome back to Newgrounds, God.

Excellent

Almost everything I would like to say has been said, but I just have 2 quick things to day:
1. Kudos on making a movie where I laughed for longer than the actual movie was.
2.I'm pretty much against the usage of the word 'LOL', because people are always 'whoring' it. For once, I would like to say lol, because, for once, I laughed out loud. Very loud to be exact.

Anyway, keep it up guys. And keep switching between longer and shorter clips, it makes the next one feel fresh again.

Oh yeah, lol. :3

Simply amazing

Firstly, I rarely ever give a 10/10, so you know I like it. Now, lets get down to the positives first.
Pros:
1.You could have ruined the madness effect with voice acting, but you didn't. I loved the simple way of conversation you had going.
2.The gore was perfect, and the kill styles were simply mindblowing.
3.The weapons were very real, and it serves as a great aspect, because many people ruin flash vids with futuristic weapons and what-not.
4.You captured the Madness theme perfectly without even having to touch the original storyline.
5.The music was fantastic.
6.The thing that made the flash perfect in my eyes, was the constant tug-of-war between hopelessness and hope altogether. All the above aspects are to thank for that.
7.Interesting and varied characters told a story of their own without touching any form of a backstory.
8.The camera movements, were simply fantastic. It gave a real horror feeling.
9.The horror aspect wasn't ruined with constant jokes, which usually takes away the hopeless feeling.
10.The animation was brilliant in terms of keeping to Madness, whilest adding more color.
11.It fit as a great sequel and ended perfectly for the next instalment to keep the story going.
12.It's always nice to have a long movie that keeps the action coming without a single moment of boredom.
13.The characters reactions to each other was exactly which one expects from a zombie outbreak.
14.Zombies = madness, and thus it was the perfect theme for a Madness movie.

Cons:
I couldn't think of many cons, but this being a review, I just thought I'd mention somethings.
1.You did explain why it happened in the description, so I'm not blaming you at all for it, but there were some text glitches. (Example: Security guards' name staying behind). Fortunatly, it didn't spoil a single thing.
2.The two female characters looked quite alot like each other, but the second ones cross made it easy to pick them out from one another.
3.Sorry, but I honestly cant find another con ;).

Suggestions for the third/final installment:
These are just a few suggestions I thought would be awesome for the next movie.
1.Call it Dusk of the madness.
2.Cameo appearances always lead to a brilliant ending. It would, for example, be fantastic if Hank saved the day at the very end of the final instalment, or if the boat goes past a patch of land where the zombies fight The Savior.
3.Chainsaws, 'nuff said.
4.It would be awesome if they end up 'Somewhere in Navada'.
5.If it turns out the clown is the true reason behind the Zombie outbreak, it could be sweet.

Again, amazing work. I really enjoy a brilliant Madness movie, considering there are so many attempts where people obviously slack off. Littleluckylink for president!

Tragically Hilarious

Amazing vid. Sad yet hilarious ending. Also liked the art style. You guys outdid yourselves this time. Keep it up :).

Gosh

Is Sad larry perhaps related to Newgrounds' Happy Harry?

This 5...

goes to the first author. Please, take your animation and put it up alone as a new entry, your score should be amazing, and I'll give you a lovely 5/5. As for Newgrounds, why front page?

Golly

I can't believe how funny I found this. Not at all my style but the voices were really funny. Kudos for mixing 2 brilliant aspects. Oh, and don't improve on the animation if it means cutting of of the funnyness.

I'm currently doing my first year at AFDA, a South African film school. This semester I'm doing directing and writing and next semester I'll be doing Animation and VFX, so expect some uploads from me next semester!
